Juan Joniaux, Culinary Arts, Class of 2010
With course selections over with for the upcoming year, the forensic science elective seemed to be a popular choice. Forensic Science instructor, Alexia Forhan, recently won a large amount of grant money for the elective. Forhan won a total of $6,500 in grant money from the American Chemical Society as well as from Best Buy. Not only that, Forhan was also nominated for a $10,000 from the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) for being an outstanding teacher.
