District Response to Investigation

The District strongly disagrees with the OIG findings. The links below contain detailed statements of the District’s position, and press releases regarding this matter.
The “I-Team” piece is little more than a rehash of the June 2007 report, which was an unfair and misleading story to which the District responded at the time. A District spokesperson was not available for a taped interview during the short window of time offered with little notice by Kathy Curran. However, the School Committee’s attorney offered to appear live with Ms. Curran when the story aired. That offer was declined.
