Admission Criteria
Massachusetts State College Admissions Requirements
The Massachusetts Board of Higher Education requires the following college-preparatory academic units as a minimum:
- 4 years English
- 3 years mathematics (Algebra I, Algebra II, geometry)
- 3 years science (including 2 years of lab science)
- 2 years social studies (including 1 year U.S. history)
- 2 years foreign language (or voc-tech/chapter 766 substitution)
- 2 years college preparatory electives
