"No School or Delayed Openings"
Safe School Assurances

It’s that time of year!  “No School or Delayed Openings” announcements for Assabet will be broadcast between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m. over T.V. channels: four, five, seven and Fox 25.  You will also receive a cancellation or a delay of opening message via our Connect-Ed phone message system. We use 7:50 a.m. as our starting time of school. Please add the time of the delay to that.

Notification of school cancellations or delays will also be posted on the District’s website.

Students from in-district communities:  Berlin, Hudson, Marlborough, Maynard, Northborough, Southborough, and Westborough,  should follow cancellations and delays pertaining to the Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School.

Students from out-of-district communities:  Boylston, Clinton, Shrewsbury, Leicester and West Boylston, should follow cancellation and delays pertaining to their particular community.

Each fall the Administrative staff visits with each of the classes to discuss our "Safe School Assurances".  Please read more about this in the Student Handbook on pages 14 and 15.  The upcoming Principal's Post will also detail these assurances.

"No student has the right to interfere with another students' guaranteed rights.  Assabet Valley will not tolerate harassment, sexual harassment, bullying, intimidation or humiliation."
