INTRODUCTION

The Senior Project is a graduation requirement for all seniors at Assabet.  The Project is an opportunity for students to showcase their knowledge of skills learned in their technical program. 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Students will write an ANALYSIS PAPER on a topic assigned by or approved by technical program teacher.
• Students will take and pass a WRITTEN EXAM created by technical program teacher(s).
• Students will complete a PRACTICAL EXAM proctored by program teacher(s) and/or community professionals.

ANALYSIS PAPER

The final draft of the paper will count as 1/3 of Senior Project grade

WRITTEN EXAM

Each technical program will create a written, multiple choice exam of at least 50 questions.  This exam will reflect knowledge all seniors should have, according to the Frameworks

This exam will count as 1/3 of Senior Project grade

PRACTICAL EXAM

Each technical program will create a practical exam that will be judged by the teacher(s), outside/community professionals, or a combination of the two.  The exam will reflect the knowledge all seniors should have, according to the Frameworks.

This exam will count as 1/3 of the Senior Project grade
