CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVIES AT AV
As Principal of Assabet Valley, I am proud of all the various teams, clubs and organizations we have here. As I think about all of the co-curricular activities available at Assabet, I would have to say that we have several hundred students participating in one group or another.
If you know of a student who is not involved in an after school activity, please encourage them to participate. Studies have shown that high school students who participate in a co-curricular activity learn how to handle time and stress more effectively. Also colleges favor students who show themselves to be well-rounded individuals.
Spring sports are just around the corner. We have a “no cut, no fee” policy here at Assabet. Please encourage your student to participate in softball, baseball, lacrosse, volleyball, or track and field.
